The parent/player relationship in baseball is perhaps the most complex in all of sports.
On this episode of Youth Baseball Talk, Jim Cromer and Spiker Helms are here to discuss the complexities of the parent/player relationship in today’s game. The player/parent relationship can most certainly be difficult, especially when the parent sets high, or unrealistic, expectations. The guys discuss these expectations and encourage parents to “just let them play.”
Plus, Kirk McNabb of Dirtbag Sports Nation joins the show with the “Rope Report“, and Rick Strickland (St. Louis Pirates) is here for “Ask Rick“, brought to you by Blast Motion.
