When is enough really enough?
On this episode of Youth Baseball Talk, Jim and Spiker attempt to answer the ever elusive question: When will enough be enough? In this case, Noah Syndergaard averaged 97.9 MPH with his fastball last year and trained (reportedly added 17 pounds of muscle) in the offseason to add speed to his pitches. Syndergaard now finds himself on the shelf for the next three months and it is mostly due to his intense training regimen. The guys attempt to tell us when enough is enough in regards to training for baseball, and debate how to relate correct information to our younger players when it comes to in-season and off-season training. Plus, Justin Stone brings us his “EliteBaseball.Tv Training Tip of the Week”, and Rick Strickland (St. Louis Pirates) is here for “Ask Rick“, brought to you by Blast Motion. Join us for this episode of Youth Baseball Talk!
