Making the transition from coach to parent is a mighty tall task.
On this episode of Youth Baseball Talk, Jim is flying solo and takes this opportunity to take a look at himself as a “parent in the stands” while making the transition from coach to dad for the next few years. Jim discusses seeing through a parent’s eyes as we do our best to root our child on to success while doing our absolute best not to overstep our bounds. What are we teaching our kids when we coach from the stands? Are we trusting the coaches enough, and if not, why are we trusting these coaches with our kids?
Plus, Kirk McNabb of Dirtbag Sports Nation joins the show with the “Rope Report“, Justin Stone brings us his “EliteBaseball.Tv Training Tip of the Week“, and Rick Strickland (St. Louis Pirates) is here for “Ask Rick“, brought to you by Blast Motion.
